Abstract Paintings

I start with nothing in my mind. Painting is a storytelling for me. I start constructing my story with the touch of effects of distinct Kurdish writing script. Then I would like to have the painting unbalanced as a reflection of my society situation. I think balance and compositions make my life steady and perfect. I find joy and transition in that imperfection compositions. Therefore, Painting is a state of mind for me.

I am in constant search for an identity. I think western art concentrates on formalism. It is how I studied art via western perspective. However, I think that art in the Middle East is in continues search for its identity as well. This parallel way of thinking became the cornerstone of the concept of my Paintings.
I use distinct writing characters is a juxtaposition of finding a new lost identity. In the same way, Kurds had ‘lost’ their writing script for Arabic or Latine. The diverse way of writing in Kurdish areas had caused miscommunication, misunderstanding, and diversion of the Kurdish society. Kurds divided stateless nation among four countries has one dream of independent. This dream will not come real as long as there are borders turn them apart and vulnerability of being in the state no identity. Therefore, I had to engage the audience to unify the work with the environment.
I would like to contribute in finding a new writing script to the Kurdish language that is authentic and reflect Kurdish history.
