Biography: Born in Duhok (Southern Kurdistan) North Iraq. Lives and works in Bloomington, Indiana.
Artist Statement: Working generally on installations, video art, Performance and paintings.
Education:
2017 Master of Fine Art (MFA), Marywood University, Scranton, PA
- Coursework included painting, drawing, printmaking, and seminars. Theoretical courses were modern and contemporary art history, aesthetics, critique, and environmental art.

Teaching:
2016 Teaching Assistant, Marywood University, Scranton, PA (Drawing, Fall 2016)
- Taught a series of lectures on landscape drawing. (nature and spirituality in a 101- religion class)
- Created a teaching plan to link religiosity with the process of landscape drawing.
- Founded the art program for Syrian refugee integration into Iraqi society.
- Developed an art curriculum in teaching fundamentals of art based on the principles and elements of art.
- Taught visual and performance art to more than 30 students.
